Overview

Conduit ("we," "us," or "our") is a condition-first Pokémon card pricing tool. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using Conduit at conduit-cards.com, you agree to this policy.

Data We Collect

Information you provide

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account. Used to send you a confirmation email and, when beta access opens, to notify you.
• User preferences — collector type (reseller, collector, casual seller) and card era/Pokémon interests, collected during onboarding. Used to personalize the Market Heat feed.
• Feedback and bug reports — submitted via the in-app feedback form. May include an optional email address.

Data generated automatically

• Card assessments — when you complete a condition assessment (corner, edge, surface, centering, and body scores), the result is stored anonymously to improve our scoring model. No card images are stored.
• Usage analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymized page view and performance data. No personal identifiers are associated with this data.
• Session cookie — a single conduit_visited cookie is set on your first visit to the landing page to avoid showing the intro animation twice. It contains no personal data and is not shared with third parties.

How We Use Your Data

• Send you a waitlist confirmation email (Resend)
• Notify you when beta access is granted
• Personalize the Market Heat feed to your stated interests
• Improve card condition scoring accuracy using anonymized assessment data
• Monitor app health and fix bugs using aggregated analytics

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Conduit uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• Vercel — hosting and analytics (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• Resend — transactional email (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• eBay — sold listing data (no personal data is shared with eBay)

Data Retention

• Waitlist emails — retained until you request deletion or the waitlist is closed
• Account data — retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Anonymous assessment data — retained indefinitely as aggregate training data
• Price snapshots — automatically purged after 90 days

Your Rights

You may request:

• Access — a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Deletion — removal of your email from the waitlist or deletion of your account
• Correction — correction of inaccurate data

Children

Conduit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
